Tata Technologies appointed Nandini Pai as head-HR business partnering (APAC) and culture, effective July. The global product engineering and digital services company is strengthening its people strategy in the Asia-Pacific region, and Pai’s appointment is a key part of this shift.
Based in Pune, Pai steps into the role with a clear mandate: to lead HR business partnerships, drive team- and change- management initiatives, and shape cultural transformation across the APAC region. Her responsibilities will align closely with Tata Technologies’ broader vision for innovation, talent development and sustainable growth.
Pai joins from Tata Motors, where she served as deputy general manager – talent management and culture. She joined the company in 2021. During her stint, she led several strategic initiatives, including succession-planning frameworks, high-potential (HiPo) talent assessments, and fast-track leadership development programmes. She also played a central role in steering enterprise-wide culture- transformation efforts.
Her previous stints span several impactful roles across organisations such as Edelweiss Financial Services, Yes Bank, Indus Balaji, Cox & Kings, and Mobilart Mobility Solutions. Over the years, she has built deep expertise in employer branding, organisational development, and cross-functional HR strategy. This rich and varied experience enables her to bring a well-rounded, people-first perspective to her new role at Tata Technologie. The role blends strategic vision with a strong understanding of cultural and business dynamics.
With extensive expertise in leadership development and culture-building, Pai is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping a dynamic and engaged workforce, reinforcing Tata Technologies’ position as a forward-looking employer in the APAC region.
