Dr Batra’s has roped in Deepak Pant as group chief operating officer (COO). He was earlier with RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, as vice president-marketing, personal care.
Pant began his professional journey with Tata Consultancy Services, as assistant systems engineering, in September of 2004. In 2007 he interned with Cognizant Technology Solutions, as business analyst.
July of 2008 saw him joining Procter and Gamble as regional assistant brand manager, Olay ASEAN, Australasia and India. Less than two years into this role, he was elevated to senior assistant brand manager, in June of 2010, based out of Singapore.
He was back in India in May of 2013, to take up the role of brand manager at Marico. During his tenure there, he turned around the growth of Livon Serum from 10 per cent in FY 2012-13 to over 18 per cent in FY 2014-15.
Pant’s next stop was Zee Entertainment Enterprises, in September of 2017, as marketing head-premium channels.
Meanwhile, he co-founded Arithlogic, a consumer tech company aimed at driving consumer acquisition and loyalty for consumer goods.
From 2019 to 2023, he was associated with Purplle.com. After serving as brand and insights director for a short while, he was elevated to director of growth, and by 2020 he was heading revenue and category management.
From April 2023 to November 2025, he served as vice president, marketing-personal care, RP Sanjiv Goenka Group.
Now, in his new assignment at Dr Batra’s, he will focus on advancing the company’s mission of delivering holistic healthcare, expanding accessibility and contributing to the vision of giving people a safer choice of medicine through Homeopathy.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C), marketing, brand building, digital marketing, P&L management, and category development are Deepak Pant’s forte.
In this new role, he will be tasked with driving strategic growth across homeopathy, aesthetics, products, and clinic expansion, including over 200 clinics in India and abroad, virtual clinics, and international presence. He will lead initiatives to enhance patient services and digital outreach, while overseeing core operational functions to deliver an elevated patient experience and expand Dr Batra’s® wellness offerings.
Dr Mukesh Batra, founder–chairman emeritus, Dr Batra’s® Healthcare, is confident that Pant’s “diversified operational and strategic background, combined with strong execution capabilities, will be instrumental as we enhance patient experience, strengthen our digital presence, and expand wellness offerings”.
