Yogesh Misra has been appointed chief executive officer of Thomas Assessments and People Metrics, both operating under the CIEL HR Group. He will now be responsible for driving business growth, leadership solutions, and the group’s talent intelligence agenda across both companies.

In this role, Yogesh Misra will focus on scaling AI-enabled workforce transformation, strengthening people analytics capabilities, and expanding leadership assessment services. The goal is to position both entities as strategic partners for data-driven people decisions at board and CXO levels.

The new role follows his tenure as chief business officer at Thomas Assessments from November 2024 to June 2026. He was then responsible for talent science and leadership assessment and helped shift psychometric data from diagnostics to decision-grade intelligence. He also worked on embedding assessment frameworks into client business processes to improve succession visibility and leadership readiness.

Prior to that, Misra was the vice president & head of consulting at People Metrics from April 2011 to March 2016, where he led consulting engagements and built capabilities around competency mapping, 360 feedback, and development centres.

His career graph shows a steady rise within Thomas Assessments over 22+ years. He joined as a consultant in April 1999 and worked till March 2001, then moved to manager from April 2001 to March 2004. He was head – northern region from April 2004 to September 2010, overseeing consulting and business development for North India and Pakistan. From October 2010 to January 2015 he served as head – consulting, and from 2015 to 2024 held senior advisory roles supporting governments and enterprises on civil service reforms, hiring quality, and leadership effectiveness.

He also led Delhi Management Assosciation(DMA) as its 49th president between June 2020 and December 2024, with a focus on digital-first offerings for management professionals.

With exposure across 25 countries and 2,000+ organisations, Yogesh Misra brings deep expertise in psychometrics, organisational transformation, and leadership development. The appointment signals CIEL HR’s intent to double down on innovation and scale in the talent intelligence space.

We at HRKatha wish Misra success for the new role!
