Procol, an Agentic AI platform for procurement and finance, has appointed Shaivya Gupta as its new chief marketing officer.
In the role, Gupta will oversee Procol’s global marketing, brand strategy, and communications. His mandate is to sharpen the company’s market positioning, establish it as a category leader in AI-powered procurement, and accelerate entry into priority international markets, with the United States as a key focus.
The appointment comes as Procol enters what it calls its next growth phase. The company has grown 5x in the past two years and now aims for 300% growth over the next 12 months. The target will be driven by deeper penetration with enterprise clients in India and the US, backed by investments in market expansion, customer success, and strategic partnerships.
“Enterprise procurement is at an inflection point,” Gupta said. He agrees that AI is shifting the function from a transactional, back-office task to a strategic lever for business value. According to him, Procol’s Agentic AI platform is redefining how procurement works by enabling decisions that are faster, smarter, and data-driven.
Gupta added that his focus will be on building stronger engagement with enterprise leaders and ensuring Procol leads the conversation on AI-first procurement in India and across global markets.
Gupta will lead efforts to scale demand generation, strengthen customer engagement, and grow Procol’s brand in enterprise markets.
Procol has evolved from an e-auction provider into a full source-to-pay platform powered by Agentic AI. It now serves 200+ enterprises across 10 countries and supports more than $30 billion in managed enterprise spend. As more companies adopt autonomous workflows, Procol conveyed it will continue investing in technology and leadership to shape the future of procurement.
