Embassy Group, the Indian real-estate development firm, has announced the much-anticipated annual festive break for its employees. The nine-day company-wide break, which has been an annual tradition for more than 20 years now, will commence on 7 November, 2026, and conclude on 15 November, 2026, allowing employees to take a well-deserved break from work and celebrate Diwali with their families and loved ones.

This is the company’s way of reaffirming its commitment to employee well-being and a people-first workplace culture. The Group clearly emphasises on work-life balance and the importance of personal connections beyond the workplace.

The break is an opportunity to acknowledge the role families play in supporting employees throughout their professional journeys. By encouraging employees to step away from work and spend dedicated time with their loved ones, so that they return return relaxed, refreshed and re-energised.

Maria Rajesh, chief human resources officer, Embassy Group, shares how Embassy, recognizes “that behind every successful employee is a strong support system, with family often playing the most important role”. She hopes that “our people use this time to celebrate, reconnect and return refreshed, energised and ready for the journey ahead.”

Alongside the festive break, Embassy continues to invest in employee well-being through initiatives that support mental and physical health, foster engagement and encourage open communication. The Employee Pulse Survey helps the Group understand employee experiences and identify opportunities for workplace improvement, while ‘Brews and Breakthroughs’ offers employees an informal platform to engage directly with leadership.

Additionally, the Group supports physical well-being through fitness memberships, yoga sessions across its offices, and fully-sponsored full-body health check-ups for employees every two years.

Clearly, Embassy Group is focussed on building a culture that values its people, recognising that their well-being extends beyond the workplace.
