Girnar Care has taken significant steps to strengthen its employee-centric work culture. The Indian contact-centre outsourcing organisation has rolled out newer benefits for its workforce under its uniquely-designed Girnar Care Policy. Most importantly, it has implemented period leaves for women to ensure equity at work. It has kept in mind the needs of new fathers and newly-married couples as well, in an effort to inculcate a healthier work environment and ensure work-life balance for its employees.

Women in the workforce will now be allowed to take one period leave a month, up to a maximum of ten in a year. This move is expected to foster trust and build a culture of acceptance for women’s biological needs. Sanitary pad vending machines have been installed on the premises. In addition, it has introduced the mandatory leave policy, to enable employees to schedule and take leave at least for a week or five consecutive workdays twice a year. Further, Girnar Care has also announced an extra day off every week for three months to new fathers and newly married couples with a view to ensure they get time to bond and enjoy some personal time.

Muzaffar U Zaman, CEO, Girnar Care, points out how 2020 was a difficult year and how it has taught them to “live up to every employee’s expectation.” He shares that the Company tries to provide the best for its staff and “the fundamental purpose of our latest policy is to develop an inclusive work culture and promotea growth-oriented environment.” He understands that “employees need to take regular breaks away from work demands for their wellbeing, and our supportive policies encourage them to focus on their health and happiness.”

Girnar Care offers a personal loan policy for employees at the lowest interest rate, which helps them deal with emergency financial burdens. It also provides medical coverage to the employees and their families up to rupees three lakhs, through a medical insurance plan.

Girnar Care provides research support, lead generation with customer and technical support outsourcing services to clients, while enhancing their imperative vision for growth. With its over 1200-strong workforce across India, it offers premium call-centre services to clients worldwide.
