Faridabad-based Umwelt.Ai, an AI-based people analytics and employee engagement SaaS platform is all set to expand globally, with the capital it has obtained. It has received funds to the tune of $125K in a seed funding round, from Upekkha, a SaaS accelerator.

Founded by Vishal Chopra six years ago, Umwelt is meant to “ bridge the gap between employee expectations and organisational realities”, which allows firms to leverage the full potential of their employees.

Umwelt helps senior managers and leaders understand and examine the feedback received from employees and take immediate action in real time. The platform makes use of chat bots, behavioural science and advanced analytics to ensure organisations increase their employee net promoter score (ENPS) and employee response rates, resulting in a more engaged workforce. Through predictive analytics, Umwelt.Ai has not only given a boost to retention, but greatly lowered early attrition rates, resulting in cost savings too.

Umwelt.Ai realizes that productivity can be improved only if employees are engaged and committed. Umwelt.Ai helps employers have a more satisfied workforce, which increases loyalty.

The Indian HR tech sector is growing rapidly and many startups are competing with Umwelt.Ai, such as Leena.AI and inFeedo.

Incuspaze, the flexible workspace provider has also received funding worth $8 million or Rs 70 crore, in a fund round lead by India Inflection Opportunity Fund (IIOF). The capital will be used to expand the company’s infrastructure and network of workspaces. The eight-year old startup already has a strong presence in 18 cities.
