    SHRM India unveils new advisory council at SHRMIAC24

    At the SHRM India Annual Conference 2024, SHRM India took a pivotal step towards reshaping workplace leadership by launching its SHRM India Advisory Council. This council, composed of industry luminaries known for their transformative leadership, aims to drive the next wave of workplace innovation and empower CXO leaders across various sectors.

    The council members include key figures such as Shiv Shivakumar, chairman, MTPL and conference chair of SHRMIAC24, noted for his strategic business leadership; Pranjal Sharma, an economic analyst and author recognised for his insights on global economic trends; Richard Rekhy, former CEO, KPMG, known for his focus on corporate governance; Pavitra Singh, CHRO, PepsiCo India, a champion of inclusive workplace culture; and Raj Nayak, founder of House of Cheer, a visionary in leveraging happiness and well-being for organisational success.

    Achal Khanna, CEO, SHRM India, expressed enthusiasm about the council’s creation, emphasising the importance of these leaders’ vision and expertise in shaping the future of workplace practices. “Their vast experience will be critical in driving workplace transformation across industries,” Khanna stated. The council was formally introduced by Betty Thompson, chief people officer, Booz Allen Hamilton, and board chair, SHRM during the conference.
