Avaada Group, the renewable energy company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) aimed at skill development and youth empowerment in the green hydrogen sector.
This collaboration will create a dynamic ecosystem that empowers youth with the essential skills to build careers in the green hydrogen industry. This is Avaada’s way of contributing to environmental responsibility and advancing India’s skill-development journey. Through targeted training and reskilling programmes, Avaada will help build a proficient workforce prepared for the future of energy.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and the National Skill Development Corporation, Avaada will deliver specialised training programmes incorporating hydrogen technologies into its curricula. Additionally, it will support the reskilling of individuals from traditional industries for roles in the green hydrogen ecosystem. This partnership will play a crucial role in strengthening India’s skilled talent pool, essential for the growth of the green hydrogen value chain.
The agreement was signed by Prashant Choubey, president, business development, Avaada and Arpit Sharma, CEO, Skill Council for Green Jobs (Skill India Mission), in the presence of Narinder Goyal, president, Green Ammonia at Avaada Group, and other senior HR leadership of Avaada group and team members from Skill Council for Green Jobs.
This MoU is a proof of Avaada’s commitment to fostering a sustainable workforce aligned with India’s ambitious decarbonisation and economic growth targets through green hydrogen initiatives.

Arpit Sharma, CEO, Skill Council for Green Jobs, feels, “This collaboration, under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0 and the Skilling, Reskilling, and Upskilling Scheme under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, is committed to providing specialised training that will equip individuals to support India’s transition to green energy.
Aligned with the National Green Hydrogen Mission’s goals, this initiative meets the demand for advanced expertise in areas such as fuel cells, electrolysers, and project management. With the Indian government’s ambitious objectives, the National Green Hydrogen Mission is projected to generate 6,00,000 jobs by 2030 and draw over Rs 8 lakh crore in investments, with substantial environmental benefits, including a 50 MMT reduction in annual greenhouse gas emissions.
Avaada Group specialises in solar module manufacturing, renewable power generation, and the development of green hydrogen, green methanol, green ammonia, and sustainable aviation fuel projects.
