After a successful seven-year long stint with Amplifon, Francesca Morichini has moved to Electrolux Group to take on the chief human resources officer (CHRO) role.
Morichini’s tryst with human resources began in 2001, when she joined the HR division of Barilla Group, Italy. Three years later, she moved to L’Oreal as HR manager, mass market division, working out of Milan. Two years into this role, she was elevated to HR coordinator, Central and eastern Europe.
Her next stop was Bialetti Industrie, as global HR director, in 2007. Almost three years later, she moved to Whirlpool. She started off as HR director, EMEA industrial operations and industrial relations, in July 2010, based out of Varese, Italy. Two and a half years into this role, she was elevated to HR director, EMEA industrial operations and industrial relations and head of talent. Another promotion a year later made her HR director EMEA business operations (commercial and industrial operations) and industrial relations. From 2014 to 2015 she served senior HR director Whirlpool-Indesit Integration Project.
By 2015, she was playing vice president-human resources, Whirlpool EMEA.
It was in October 2017 that she moved to Amplifon as global chief HR officer.
Known to be an inspirational, strategic and pragmatic leader, Francesca Morichini will be reporting to the CEO at Electrolux, the Swedish multinational home-appliance company.
HRKatha wishes Francesca Morichini all the best as she puts her “passion for business partnerships and transformation” to good use at Electrolux!
