Yokohama ATG has appointed Rajeev Singh as its chief human resources officer (CHRO), marking a return to the organisation for the seasoned HR executive. He assumed the role effective 20 April, 2026.
Based in Mumbai, Singh will lead the company’s global HR function across India, the US and Europe. His mandate includes strengthening people practices, supporting business growth and building a more inclusive and engaging workplace culture across geographies.
Singh brings more than 28 years of experience across human resources, organisational transformation and leadership development, having worked across India, the US, the Middle East, Hong Kong and the UK. Most recently, he served as CHRO at EPIC Group in Hong Kong, where he led global people strategy and transformation initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Singh was associated with Yokohama Off-Highway Tires before moving to Solara Active Pharma Sciences as CHRO, where he led the HR and CSR functions and was part of the executive leadership team.
Singh started his professional journey with Bharat Petroleum as an HR officer managing industrial relations at its refinery operations in Mumbai. He later joined PwC as senior consultant–HR, advising organisations on restructuring, organisation design, HR operating models and change management initiatives.
A significant phase of his career was spent with BG Group, now part of Shell, where he worked across multiple geographies in senior HR leadership roles. He also served as director – HR at Gujarat Gas and later as CHRO and president at Welspun Corp, leading large-scale organisational transformation and culture initiatives.
Singh holds a master’s degree in personnel management and industrial relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a BE in Metallurgical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur. He is also certified in Strategic HR Practices from Cornell University and is a Certified Executive Coach accredited by EMCC.
