It is designed to provide ample space to study, relax, interact,  innovate and engage in lively discussions.

XLRI-Xavier School of Management has got a new campus, which spreads across seven acres. This new campus will be an extension of the existing Jamshedpur campus.

This learning centre comprises 26 state-of-the-art classrooms with a capacity to seat over 2000 students. There are 15 classrooms, each capable of accommodating 75, and six syndicate rooms with a capacity to seat 50–60 students each. A 75-seater computer lab fitted with the latest servers and workstations facilitates the learning process.

Considering the growing pool of outstanding student applicants, the new learning centre has two large and two small classrooms with a capacity to seat 125 and 60 students each, respectively.

The design is in keeping with the objective of creating spaces that support innovation and encourage lively discussions.

In Fr. E. Abraham, director-XLRI’s words, “XLRI, with its singular philosophy of Magis, i.e., pursuit of excellence in all endeavours, has continually focussed on three interrelated areas: academic excellence, personal values and societal concern. XLRI has always been ahead of time in imparting world-class business education and in providing world-class infrastructure ever since its inception. This new campus signifies our preparedness in educating and mentoring future generations of global leaders to enter into a challenging, multicultural and interconnected world of business.”

The carefully thought-out architecture of the new XLRI campus, which is a contiguous extension of the existing Jamshedpur campus, houses a new learning centre, an international centre for the global MBA programme and hostel facilities for boys and girls.

The multi-storied hostel for first-year students offers 384 single-room accommodation facilities for boys and girls, respectively.

The towering, six-floor international centre includes four offices, 65-seater classrooms, 96 rooms with attached washrooms and eight suites. Comfortable dining facility, relaxing lounges and a reception desk are few of the other noticeable amenities here.

The campus also boasts of the best network and 90 MBPS raw bandwidth WAN connectivity. There are high-end servers, which host the XLRI web page, mail and SNTP servers as well as Oracle, Lotus notes, SAS, DB2 and other software.
