    Adit Ahuja is now joint president-HR, UltraTech Cement

    Adit Ahuja has joined UltraTech Cement as its joint president-HR, effective immediately. In the new role, Ahuja will be responsible for heading and driving the HR agenda for the company’s cement marketing, sales, logistics, and commercial functions along with two exciting businesses RMC (Ready Mix Concrete) and BPD (Building Products Division).

    Prior to this, Ahuja was associated with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail as its head-HR for ethnic brands.

    He joined the company in 2023. In this role, Ahuja led the people agenda for the company’s leading brands such as Sabyasachi, Shantanu & Nikhil, TASVA, Jaypore, House of Masaba and TCNS (W, Aurelia, Wishful). He also assumed the *role of retail business COE* for performance management, rewards, digital, talent acquisition & HR operations for Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail.

    He has worked across many sectors such as energy, manufacturing, automotive, industrial goods, cement, BFSI, technology, consumer durables and FMCG.

    With a career spanning over 20 years in HR business partnering, HR strategy, transformation and integration experience, Ahuja has worked across many sectors such as consulting, technology, conglomerate, FMCG, retail and manufacturing. Furthermore, his expertise lies in talent acquisition, rewards and performance management, talent management and learning and organisation development.

    Ahuja has worked with many other companies such as Tata Consumer Products, Tata Group, TCS and Towers Watson.

    Ahuja holds a bachelor’s degree in BA Economics, and an MBA from SIES College of Management Studies.
