KISNA Diamond and Gold Jewellery, the flagship brand of the Hari Krishna Group, has roped in Nitin Naik as chief technology officer (CTO).

An alumnus of the University of Mumbai, Nitin Naik began his professional journey as a developer/ module leader with Wintech International, way back in 2000.

Six months later, he switched to Aerospace Systems as developer and onsite coordinate for US asset management client.

It was in August of 2003 that he began his long association with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He joined as onsite coordinator and offshore project manager for a US asset management client. Over a year and a half into this role, he was elevated to group leader for commodity exchange. He provided development and enhancement support for applications such as trading, surveillance, clearing and settlement, risk-management system, and commodity-management system. Four years later, he was promoted to SAP and non-SAP programme manager for European manufacturing client. Among other responsibilities he oversaw application maintenance and development services for SAP and Non-SAP applications across multiple countries.

From January of 2017 to February of 2022, he served as non-ERP global delivery manager for European manufacturing clients. Over five years later, he was given responsibility of playing cluster delivery partner, Switzerland and Italy. From 2023 to 2024 he served as delivery head for life sciences, Switzerland and Nordics. By September of 2024, he had been elevated to delivery head, cybersecurity.

Now, in his latest appointment at KISNA, he will be expected to lead the jewellery brand’s technology function across digital commerce, retail systems, supply-chain integration and data infrastructure. He will work closely with business and operations teams to build scalable platforms, enhance customer experience and enable seamless online-offline operations.

Parag Shah, CEO, KISNA Diamond and Gold Jewellery, feels Naik’s “appointment strengthens our ability to drive this transformation with sharper focus”.

Nitin Naik himself is excited at “the opportunity to build technology capabilities for a fast-scaling retail brand” such as KISNA. He looks “forward to enabling integrated platforms that support retail growth, partner ecosystems and seamless consumer journeys.”

HRKatha wishes Naik all the best in this endeavour!
