JK Lakshmi Cement has got a new head-HR in Anil Verma. He has moved from Ambuja Cements where he spent well over three years.

An alumnus of Indore School of Social Work and Punjab Technical University, Anil Verma began his professional journey with Alpine Biotech, as assistant personnel officer, in 1997. Over a year later, he moved to Methodex Systems, as personnel executive, working out of Indore for over five years.

April of 2004 saw Anil Verma joining TV Sundram Iyengar & Sons, as assistant manager-HR, P&A. This stint lasted almost three years.

UltraTech Cement roped Anil Verma in as manager-HR & admin in January of 2007. Six years into this role, he was elevated to deputy general manager-HR, moving from Panipat to Jafarabad, Gujarat. From 2017 to 2018 he was general manager-HR &ER, Dhar Cement Works, Madhya Pradesh. Another elevation in 2018 made him senior general manager-HR & ER, based out of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.

It was in November of 2021 that he came to be associated with Ambuja Cements, as plant HR head. Less than two years into this role, he was elevated to clusted HR head, working out of Chandrapur, Maharashtra. Among his responsibilities will be training, performance management, human resources, employee relations, personnel management, HR policies, talent acquisition, Greenfield projects, crisis management, stakeholder management, and union relations.

JK Lakshmi Cement is a member of the JK Organisation, and has a strong network of about 4000+ cement dealers across the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Odisha and West Bengal.
