After a successful tenure with Nuance, which was acquired by Microsoft, Beth Conway has taken up the role of executive vice president and chief people officer at UKG.
A graduate from Siena College, Conway studied general management and business administration at Harvard Business School.
Her professional journey began with Key Bank as HR generalist, in 1998. She then moved to CA Technologies, as employee relations specialist, in 1999. Within a year she was promoted to manager, HR, working out of San Diego.
The year 2003 was witness to Conway playing HR director at CA Technologies, Florida. Seven years later she was elevated to vice president, human resources/people. For the next six years, she successfully created centralised employee relations and operational functions, built an employer branding and social media strategy, increased retention and the candidate pipeline, and even implemented a global onboarding programme that lowered new hire attrition. In 2016 she was promoted to the position of senior vice president, people. Her tenure at CA Technologies lasted over 15 years.
Conway’s next stop was Nuance Communications, in 2018, as executive vice president and chief people and places officer. The firm was acquired by Microsoft and as a member of the executive leadership team, Beth Conway supported the transformation of the company’s strategy, governance, and culture, resulting in hypergrowth and 5X market share increase.
