After a long and successful stint of over nine years with VFS Global, Bhavesh Panchal has taken up the role of chief technology officer (CTO), Magenta Mobility.
An engineering graduate from University of Mumbai, Panchal began his career as a process engineer with Mahindra & Mahindra, in 1996. Over two years later, he moved to Datamatics Technologies, as pre post sales engineer. His next stop was Infosys, where he worked as technical lead from September of 2002 to January of 2004.
Deloitte Consulting roped in Bhavesh Panchal in February of 2004. For almost nine and a half years he played various roles including account manager, delivery manager and programme manager. As technology lead he honed his skills in IT strategy work, solution architecture, testing strategy and automated testing. He even led technical and functional teams and managed projects across various technologies. By the time he moved on from Deloitte in June of 2013, he had reached the position of delivery lead.
July of 2013 saw Bhavesh Panchal take up the role of practice lead at Hitachi Consulting.
It was in February of 2016 that Panchal joined VFS Global as head of regional IT. A year and four months into this role, he was elevated to head of corporate IT and digital delivery.
Backed by over 25 years of experience leading global digital transformation programmes, this visionary leader possesses expertise in emerging technologies, including AI/ML, Industry 4.0, Cloud, SAP and Salesforce.
