Cargill, the food and beverage manufacturing company, has roped in Swaminathan Chandrashekhar for the role of director-human resource business partner and head-HR, India Capability Centre. He moves from Eli Lilly and Company where he spent over five and a half years, with his last designation there being director-HR.
A commerce graduate with a PGDM in HR from TA Pai Management Institute, Swaminathan Chandrasekhar began his professional tryst with HR, as associate lead-business partner human resources, in May of 2010. A year and a half into this role he was elevated to senior associate lead-business partner human resources.
By 2015, he had reached the position of lead-business partner human resources, Infosys.
Chandrashekhar’s next stop was Citi, where he was manager-human resources from 2014 to 2016.
March of 2016 saw him back at Infosys, working as senior lead-employee relations. Over two years into this role, he was promoted to manager-employee relations.
June of 2020 was witness to Swaminathan Chandrashekhar taking up the role of senior human resources manager, Eli Lilly, based out of Bengaluru. Two and a half years into this role, he was elevated to associate director-human resources. By January of 2024 he had been promoted to director-HR.
