Ashutosh Sinha has been appointed head-human resources and administration, Dalmia Bharat Refractories. He has moved from Wiggles.in, where he was head-human resources since 2023.

A commerce graduate who also holds a master’s degree in personnel management, Ashutosh Sinha comes with over two decades of experience. He began his HR journey with Perot Systems, as associate-resource management group, in 2000. He then moved to Adecco as client account manager for three years.

The year 2005 saw him take on the role of assistant manager-human resources (North zone), at Future Group India. Less than two and a half years into this role, he moved to JSL Lifestyle, as head-human resources, in 2007.

For the next nine years and eight months, he served JSL based out of Delhi, implementing functional best practices to focus on development of skills to meet present and future goals set by the organisation. He also implemented innovative personnel and HR policies / procedures while shouldering other responsibilities.

August of 2017 was witness to him playing strategic consultant and mentor, INFOMIND INDIA. Two years later, he joined Tuyasmart India, as head-HR. He helped set up the India business operations for the global cloud platform, looking after the compliance and administration, offices and testing labs, manpower planning, budgeting and designing of HR processes among other things. His tenure at Tuyasmart India lasted less than three and a half years.

His next stop was Wiggles.in in July, 2019, which required him to move to Pune.

In his new assignment at Dalmia Bharat Refractories, a company that provides high-performance refractory materials, solutions, and services to iron and steel companies worldwide, Sinha will be in charge of overall HR strategy in line with the business requirements. He will also oversee planning, directing, HR diagnostics and coordination of HR management activities to maximise the strategic use of human resources.

HRKatha wishes Ashutosh Sinha all the best!
