    DFM Foods gets new CHRO in Richa Saraswat

    Saraswat moves from United Breweries where she was HR business partner, supply chain and cluster HR head, North region

    Richa Saraswat has been appointed chief human resources officer (CHRO), DFM Foods. She has moved from United Breweries, where she had spent over two years heading the northern cluster and playing HR business partner, supply chain.

    An alumna of Delhi University and International Management Institute (IMI), Saraswat served as associate manager-HR, Vedanta’s Iron-Ore division, from May 2008 to July 2011.

    She then moved to Vedanta Resources to handle corporate human resources. She was elevated to head of talent acquisition in 2019. At Vedanta, she was known for diligence and focussed work and her ability to handle complex strategic projects for TA at a global level. She spent well over a decade with Vedanta before moving to United Breweries, in November of 2021.

    She joined as cluster HR head-North, working out of Gurgaon for over a year. In December 2023, she was elevated to HR business partner, supply chain and cluster HR head, North.

    Having worked in business and factory locations as well as corporate settings, Saraswat is known for her balanced view on HR strategic planning and execution.

    Her forte lies in talent acquisition, employer branding, HR business partnering, talent management & engagement, culture building, capability building, change management and diversity & inclusion.

    Her delightful personality and sincerity will be an asset to DFM Foods, a company that manufactures packaged snacks in India.
