    Gitesh Karnik roped in for CHRO role at Veefin Group

    Gitesh Karnik has been roped in to play chief human resources officer (CHRO), at Veefin Group.

    This human resource strategist and change evangelist comes with over two decades of experience having begun his tryst with HR in 2000, with Cyquator Technologies, as senior manager- staffing and manpower planning.

    He worked with Integreon as senior manager-human resources from 2002 to 2004. Then came a stint with GE Money as assistant vice president-HR.

    July of 2007 saw Karnik joining Deutsche Bank as vice president-human resources. In April 2008 Karnik moved to Tata Capital as head-talent. Over three and a half years later, he switched to e-Nxt Financials as chief people officer and head-HR shared services.

    From May 2015 to June 2017, Gitesh Karnik essayed the role of head-human resources, Hicare Services.

    His next stop was Magma Fincorp, where he took on the role of business HR head. For the next two years he managed the entire employee life cycle and HR digitisation at the company.

    The year 2019 was witness to Gitesh Karnik being appointed chief people officer, Nearby Technologies for five years.

    An alumnus of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Karnik has experience working across different sectors such IT, ITes, BFSI retail, real estate and hospitality.

    HRKatha wishes Karnik all the best in his latest assignment at Veefin Group, the global supply chain finance company and digital lending platform for lenders and corporates.
