HCLTech has appointed Arjun A Sethi as chief growth officer for strategic segments. This newly-created post will focus on government and global private equity.
Sethi moves from Kearney, where his tenure lasted a little less than 25 years. He joined in 2000 as consultant and went on to become partner in 2007, working out of New York City. By 2016, he was elevated to partner, global lead digital transformation practice. In June this year, he was promoted to partner-vice chair, digital transformation and lead partner financial institutions-Americas.His extensive international experience spans the Americas, Middle East and APAC across government and PE, as well as financial services.
In the early years of his career, Arjun Sethi worked with Tata Motors as assistant manager from 1994 to 1996. He then moved to NIIT as assistant manager, from 1998 to 2000.
This new role at HCLTech will see Sethi working out of New York, using his expertise in digital and business transformation to bring HCLTech’s engineering-led technology portfolio, digital services and differentiated GenAI solutions to these high-growth segments.

Arjun Sethi holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, India, and a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
