Hemant Gupta has been appointed chief financial officer, Swiss Beauty. He moves to this Indian cosmetics and beauty brand after serving FNP as global CFO for well over two and a half years.
A chartered account from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Hemant Gupta is a commerce graduate from Delhi University.
He worked as senior executive, finance, Tara Fabrics India, for years in the initial stage of his professional journey, from 2000 to 2003.
From March of 2003 to April of 2006, he served as consultant, PwC. His next stop was LPC Group where he served as deputy manager, finance for over two years, based out of Leicester, England. During his tenure at the tissue manufacturer, he facilitated the acquisition of three new plants in Europe and raised funds to the tune of $100M for acquisitions in collaboration with European bankers and private equity firms.
July of 2008 was witness to Hemant Gupta taking on the role of manager-India finance, Nortel Networks India. After spending almost three years there, he moved to Carrefour India as director-finance and accounts.
Blackberry roped Hemant Gupta in for the role of CFO from January 2015 to March 2018.
Gupta then moved to Mumbai to join The Mandhana Retail Venture as CFO and COO (Being Human brand) for a short while before taking up the position of CFO & COO at GB Global.
In March 2020 he joined Clove Dental as group chief financial officer for over two years before moving to FNP, the Indian gifting brand.
At Swiss Beauty, he will be tasked with enhancing financial strategy, increasing operational efficiency, and helping the company expand in the competitive beauty and cosmetics market.
