Levi Strauss & Co., the retail apparel and fashion brand has elevated Hiren Gor to the position of managing director-South Asia, Middle East and Africa. He has been associated with the company since 2009, when he joined as manager-key accounts.
Backed by over two decades of experience, Hiren Gor began his professional journey with Colgate-Palmolive, as sales officer. Over two years later, he moved to VF Corporation, as key account manager. Working out of Mumbai, this role saw him managing end-to-end relationship with Shoppers Stop for Wrangler brand, including sales, commercial negotiations, space acquisition, order servicing and collections. Over three years into this role, he switched to Future Group-Home Solutions, as manager, brand management. For a year he was handling space management for Home Town and Home Bazaar stores of Future Group to optimise sales density, consistent growth and newness for consumers.
It was in May of 2009 that he joined Levi Strauss as manager-key accounts. As a part of the national chain stores team, he helped service and grow the largest account for Levi’s, Shoppers Stop. Less than two and a half years later, he was promoted to channel head-national chain stores and relocated from Mumbai to Bengaluru. By December of 2012 he had become retail head-West India. From June 2015 to February 2017, he played retail head-North India, working out of New Delhi. In March of 2017 he was elevated to director, distribution and international business-South Asia, bringing him back to Bengaluru. The next promotion happened in 2019, which made him director, retail-India. September of 2022 saw him becoming senior director-retail, India. Another promotion a year later made him general manager-South Asia. July of 2025 saw him taking on the role of managing director and SVP-South Asia, Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Turkey and Eastern Europe.
An alumnus of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Hiren Gor’s depth of experience in managing different channels of sales – retail, wholesale and modern trade will continue to hold him in good stead.
