    Indu Kapoor joins Infosys as head-HR for consulting business

    Infosys has appointed Indu Kapoor as its new head-human resources. In this role, Kapoor will head the company’s consulting business and will be based in Bengaluru.

    Prior to this, Kapoor was associated with ITC Infotech as vice president-head, business HR. She joined the company in the year 2021.

    With over two decades of experience in human resources, Kapoor’s expertise lies in organisational talent strategy, culture and change management, leadership development, capability development, merger & acquisition, and integration.

    She has worked across many industries such as insurance, banking, hospitality, food, retail and logistics. Furthermore, she has worked with many renowned names such as EXL, Alcatel-Lucent and Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces.

    Kapoor began her career in the year 2001. She joined Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces in the year 2001 as an HR generalist. In 2004, she moved to Alcatel-Lucent as its head-talent development. In 2006, she was elevated to the role of head-skill and competence management. After two years, she was promoted to HR business partner for the company’s research and development division.

    In the year 2011, she joined EXL as AVP-HR, travel and transport vehicle. She held many leadership roles during the ten years she spent with the company. In 2014, she was the VP-HR-global HR head, finance & accounting vertical.

    An alumnus of Delhi University, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relationship & Personnel Management.
