Axelera AI, a company that offers a game-changing hardware and software platform that accelerates artificial intelligence (AI), has elevated Meghna Singh to the role of chief people officer (CPO).
Singh has been associated with Axelera AI since June of 2023 when she joined as vice president of people. With this promotion, she continues to contribute to the company which has a strong presence in the growing field of Edge AI and computer vision applications.

This alumna of Delhi University and the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies began her professional journey in 2007, as a management trainee with HCL Comnet where she was part of the compensation and benefits team.
From October of 2007 to March of 2011 she was with Infosys as lead-talent acquisition. For the first one year she handled campus recruiting, interacting with business schools, working out of Bangalore. The second year was spent in managing the global management programme (GMP) to groom young talent hired from campuses for the Client Service Group. From 2010 to 2011 she was based out of Greater New York City Area, handling technology recruitment for New Jersey.

December of 2014 was witness to Meghna Singh playing technology recruiter for Booking.com, based out of Amsterdam, Netherlands. A year into this role, she was elevated to senior technology recruiter.
March of 2016 saw Singh starting a long association with McKinsey & Company. She started off as executive recruiter, McKinsey Digital, Europe, working out of Amsterdam. Just over two years into this role she was elevated to manager of people development (global life sciences practice).
The next promotion in 2022 made her senior manager of people and talent development, global life sciences.

Another promotion five months later put her in the position of senior manager of people and talent development, McKinsey Digital & Analytics, Europe.

It was in June of 2023 that she moved to Axelera AI as VP of people. With this latest promotion, Singh will lead the global people function for the Amsterdam-based deeptech company focused on advancing AI at the edge through its integrated hardware and software platform.

She will help shape people strategy, organisational culture, leadership development and scalable talent practices to facilitate the firm’s growth across 17 countries.

Singh feels privileged to “help shape a culture where brilliant minds can thrive” and admits to being “constantly inspired by my colleagues — some of the smartest, most driven people I’ve ever worked with!”

“We’re not just building tech – we’re laying the groundwork for the future of AI. That’s a mission worth jumping out of bed for,” she says in her social-media post.
