Allstate Solutions (ASPL), the global services arm of Allstate Corporation, has appointed Monarch Limaye as director – human resources.

Monarch has moved to Allstate from Software AG, where he was the country head for HR functions and an advisor to the global R&D leadership.

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Limaye began his career with Reckitt Benckiser in 2001, as HR manager. Four years later, he joined ING Vysya Life Insurance as HR manager – operations. This was a short stint that lasted less than a year.

He then moved to Logica as manager – total rewards, in 2006. In less than four years, he was promoted to head – talent acquisition. By the time he quit Logica in 2013, he was heading total rewards for the rest of the world (except Europe).

His longest stint has been with Software AG, where he joined as country head – human resources, in 2013. For over eight years, he was responsible for developing, leading and executing the people strategy for the Company, in alignment with the business and needs of all employees based out of India.

He was then promoted to the position of country head – HR, SAG India / HR business partner APJ & US.

At Allstate — a Fortune 100 company and insurer for personal lines, including auto and home policies — Limaye “will lead the ASPL HR organisation and be responsible for driving the HR function,” says Chetan Garga, VP & MD, ASPL.

Garga is confident that Limaye’s “deep HR experience will enable us to accelerate the progress on transformative goals” as ASPL looks to “foster an inclusive culture and talent strategy.”

Limaye is also an ICF-certified executive coach and a certified GRP professional, who holds a master’s degree in psychology from Tamil Nadu University.

Garga reiterates that Limaye’s entry into ASPL is “yet another step towards further nurturing our People First culture.”
