Nandini Matiyani has moved from RateGain, where she was vice president, people and culture, to take up the role of EVP and global HR head at Strides, the global pharma company headquartered in Bengaluru.

Matiyani brings about two decades of experience to the table. She was associated with Wipro as general manager, human resources and head-group HR from 2005 to 2011. During these six odd years she essayed the group HR role for Wipro’s India and Middle East business.

August of 2011 saw Matiyani moving to OnMobile Global, as vice president and global HR head. In this CHRO role, she was responsible for defining and executing HR strategy to support the business goals as well as talent acquisition, leadership hiring, HR business partnering, compensation and benefits, talent management, performance management, learning and development and HR automation.

After over two years with OnMobile, Nandini Matiyani joined Wipro where she played various HR business partnering roles during her tenure from 2013 to 2020.
By the time she moved from Wipro in 2020, she had become vice president and global HRBP.

It was in June of 2023 that she came to be associated with RateGain as vice president-people and culture. In addition to handling people and culture for the APMEA region, she helped shape HR strategy, led workforce management, as well as HR business partnering to enable growth in a rapidly scaling SaaS environment.

In her latest assignment at Strides Pharma Science, the global pharmaceutical major, Matiyani is “looking forward to working closely with our teams across geographies to strengthen capabilities, reinforce culture, and support the ambition to make better and fairer healthcare a reality – through agility, care, and meaningful innovation that delivers quality and lasting value for patients, partners and shareholders”.

HRKatha wishes her all the best in this endeavour!
