Treasure Heinle—who has been the chief talent officer, Nike, since September 2022—has been elevated to the position of CHRO of the athletic footwear and apparel company.
She will succeed Monique Matheson who has decided to retire after a more than two-decade old stint with the company. Matheson had joined Nike in 1998, as director-employee relations. After six promotions, she had been elevated to EVP, chief human resources officer, by 2017. She successfully drove the global HR strategy for NIKE, and lead business growth and transformation through the lens of people. She managed total rewards, talent acquisition & management, culture, diversity, equity & inclusion, leadership development, learning, organisational effectiveness and employee engagement. Matheson has also been an employment attorney for over five years from 1993 to 1998.
Treasure Bailey Heinle will step into Matheson’s shoes. Her association with Nike began in March, 2012 when she joined as vice president, HRBP, North America Geography. Just over three years later, she was elevated to HRBP for gold operations team (COO organisation). The next promotion came in October of 2018 when she was made vice president, HR global consumer and marketplace, Nike, Jordan brand and Converse. Based out of Beaverton, Oregon, she successfully led a team of HR business partners and centres of excellence (CoE) that support the Nike Brand’s four geographic operating regions: North America; Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA);Greater China; and Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA). From September 2022 onwards she had been essaying the role of chief talent officer.
In the initial years of her professional journey, Heinle has served as senior director HR, InFocus, from 1996 to 2005. Then she moved to Tektronix as VP of HR for a little over five years. From January 2011 to March of 2012, she served as vice president-HR, Asia, Danaher.
