After over three years of successfully playing director and head-people development and business HR, at Cohizon Life Sciences, Apoorva Chawla has moved to Parle Biscuits to head-global talent acquisition and human resources-international business.
An alumna of International College for Girls, Jaipur from where she completed a BCA, Apoorva Chawla went on to obtain an MBA in Human Resource Management from Institute of Management Nirma University.
She interned with Business Standard before beginning her tryst with HR as assistant manager-HR, with Usha International, in 2013. Based out of Gurgaon, she was responsible for recruitment across multiple functions, employee engagement, recruitment MIS, background verification, campus hiring and inhouse newsletters.
She then moved to Goa in 2015 to handle human resources for Synapse Information Services for a year.
May of 2016 saw Chawla relocating to Pune to be part of Infosys as senior associate lead-BPHR.
She was back in Goa as manager-HRBP, Cipla, in October of 2017. Less than three years into this role she was elevated to senior manager-HRBP for global supply chain, working out of Mumbai. Two years later came another promotion that made her associate director, lead-talent and learning.
After close to five years at Cipla, Apoorva Chawla moved to Cohizon Life Sciences in 2022 as director and head-people development and business HR.
Chawla believes that “people thrive when they’re seen, supported and trusted”.
