    Priyanka Rao is now head-HR, The Den Bengaluru

    Rao moves from The Orchid Hotel, where she was head of human resources and training since July 2023

    Priyanka Rao has joined The Den Bengaluru, a hotel located in the prime business district of Whitefield. She moves from The Orchid Hotel, where she was head of human resources and training since July 2023.

    Rao’s professional journey began with a stint at Holiday Inn Hotel, South Goa, as human resources executive, in 2009. Two years and eight months later, she moved to Azzure by Spree Hotels Goa, in 2012. She spent over five years in this hotel before switching to W Goa, as assistant manager, human resources.

    After a two-year long tenure at W, she relocated to Bengaluru in 2020, joining Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as assistant manager human resources. This stint lasted only eight months.

    By October 2020, she was back in Goa. This time, she joined Baale Resort Goa as human resources-HOD. A year and eight months into this role, she switched again to Hyatt Hotels.

    This assignment took her to Pune, Maharashtra. Six months later, she moved yet again to On Direct Marketing Services, as senior human resources manager. After spending a little less than two years at On Direct, Rao joined The Orchid Hotel, part of Kamat Hotel India, as head of human resources and training, in July 2023.

    Priyanka Rao‘s experience in the luxury hospitality sector and skills in grievances- handling, people management, HR policies, payroll, employee engagement as well as compliances will stand her in good stead in her new assignment at The Den.
