DP World, a company that works to make global trade flow better, has roped in Sahdev Bhatt for the role of senior director and head-talent acquisition-SCO. Bhatt was earlier serving ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, as head-talent acquisition since 2023.
With a humble beginning as an executive-HR, Pipavav Shipyard, in 2008, Sahdev Bhatt went on to become associate manager-strategic HR partner, Adani Power, in 2010. For almost seven years, he led the leadership hiring for the entire energy business of the Adani Group, working out of Ahmedabad.
The year 2017 saw him moving to Tata Motors, taking up the role of deputy general manager (lead talent acquisition)-human resources. For over five and a half years he successfully led the end-to-end lateral talent acquisition, including leadership hiring for all the businesses of Tata Motors, working out of Mumbai and Ahmedabad. June of 2021 saw him elevated to deputy general manager (lead business partner HR)-sales and marketing-CVBU, Tata Motors.
After a successful tenure at Tata Motors that lasted over six and a half years, Sahdev Bhatt switched to ArcelorMittal Nippol Steel India, as head-talent acquisition, in September 2023.
Bhatt, who completed an MSW in HR from Maharaja Sayajirao University, is also a certified human resource professional from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). He also completed a course in HR analytics from XLRI Jamshedpur.
