Westlife FoodWorld, the company that operates hundreds of McDonald’s restaurants across over 52 cities in India, has roped in Sandhydeep Purri for the role of chief people officer (CPO).

Purri, who has completed an MBA in human resources from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management in 1997, was associated with Denso, Climate Systems and DDB Mudra Group in the initial years of her career having done two-year stints with each of them.

In 2005, she joined Satyam Computers as lead consultant where she spent well over six years. From September 2012 to May 2013, she played senior manager-human capital consulting, at Deloitte.

Her association with Aditya Birla Group began in June 2013, as head of talent management and development. Three and a half years into this role, she was elevated to AVP and head organisation effectiveness and transformation. For the next year and seven months, she successfully handled organisation-development initiatives across the ABG retail sector, including Aditya Birla Retail, Pantaloons Fashion Retail and Madura Fashion and Garments, covering over 2000 stores and all non-store facilities.

March of 2017 saw Sandhydeep Purri accepting the role of chief people officer, Sapphire Foods, Pizza Hut & KFC. After a successful tenure of over six and a half years with Sapphire Foods, she relocated from Mumbai to Bengaluru, to head Unacademy as chief people officer (CPO).

This talented HR professional is known for her dynamism and liveliness. Having received certifications for coaching, corporate governance, psychometric profiling and instructional design, Purri is sure to be an asset to Westlife FoodWorld (McDonald’s). HRKatha wishes her all the best!
