Biswas brings over two decades of experience in financial leadership and strategic transformation. Known for his ability to foster growth and implement innovative solutions, he has a strong record of achievements.
Biswas’s extensive experience includes a 12-year career at Vodafone, where he held key roles such as CFO of Vodafone Romania, EVP of corporate development, and head of procurement. As a member of Vodafone’s senior leadership team, he also contributed to strategic growth in India and other international markets.
Before joining Vodafone, Biswas served as head-corporate finance, Hutchison India, in the year 2005. In this capacity, he worked with the top leadership to shape finance strategies that fuelled the company’s expansion.
Gaurav Banerjee, managing director and CEO of SPNI, expressed his enthusiasm for Biswas’s appointment. He admits that Biswas’s “financial expertise and strategic vision make him an excellent addition to SPNI’s leadership team.” He believes, “His experience in enhancing operational efficiency and navigating complex financial environments will be invaluable as we build our brand and elevate the viewer experience. We are eager for his contributions as we enter this new phase of growth.”
