    Tata Steel elevates Chandan Mishra to head-HR, Sahibabad

    Mishra has been associated with Tata Steel since 2015, having joined as manager HRM-CRC West

    After almost a decade-long association with Tata Steel, Chandan Mishra has been elevated to head-human resources, Sahibabad.

    Mishra, who holds an MBA from LN Mishra College of Business Management and a postgraduate diploma in Labour Law from Indian Law Institute, began his career as a human resource officer (HRO) with Asian Paints, in July 2011.

    Over two years later, in June of 2014, he moved to Samsung Electronics, as HR-PST.

    September of 2015 saw Chandan Mishra moving from Noida to Maharashtra, to take up the role of manager HRM-CRC West at Tata Steel. Less than three years later, he was promoted to senior manager HRM-RMHS and L TSK. This promotion also saw him move to Orissa. Two years into this role came another promotion that made him senior manager HRM -supply chain TSK. September of 2021 was witness to Chandan Mishra being promoted to senior manager HRBP, improvement and new initiatives, TSK. From March 2022 to June 2024, he was head HRBP OMQ. Yet another promotion happened in July of 2023, which saw him moving to Kolkata, as head HRBP new business. Now, as head-HR, Sahibabad, Chandan Mishra will be operating from Delhi.

    Known for his contagious enthusiasmm and excellent leadership and people-management skills, Chandan Mishra’s areas of expertise include employee engagement, HR process audit and employee relations among others. HRKatha congratulates him and wishes him all the best!
