Victura Technologies has roped in Pankaj Sharma to play chief human resources officer (CHRO). Sharma has moved from APL Apollo Tubes where he served in a similar capacity from September 2024 to June 2026.
An alumnus of Delhi School of Economics, Pankaj Sharma began his professional journey as a humble deputy manager with IBM in 2006. Two years later, he moved to Deloitte Consulting as senior consultant for a year.
He then worked with Aircel for over three and a half years as HR partner enterprise business, organisation design, talent programme and HR operations (Delhi Circle).
For over three and a half years, among other responsibilities, he designed and managed the talent programme including Hi-Po process, succession planning and capability assessment. He also designed and rolled out the succession-management framework.
In July of 2012 he joined MAHLE to head HR for over six years.
Sharma’s next stop was Anand Group where he worked as GM group human resources for five months, from August of 2018 to December 2018, before being elevated to VP-group human resources. Over three years into this role, he was promoted yet again to senior vice president and head-group human resources. For the next almost two years, he successfully managed end-to-end HR activities, including driving the overall HR strategy for the group, creating the roadmap for the group and driving deployment across the group.
In March of 2024, he was appointed CHRO of Rockman Industries.
Soon, APL Apollo roped him in for the role of CHRO in September of 2024 tasked with shaping and executing the complete people agenda to drive business growth, cultural alignment, capability development, and organisational transformation for the conglomerate.
