Mandakini Ghadage has accepted the role of senior director-employee relations, at WPP Media, a global media company. She moves from Aditya Birla Capital where she was leading employee relations since 2023.
An alumna of University of Mumbai, where she pursued an LLB, Mandakini Ghadage went on to obtain a master’s degree in Labour Studies, Human Resources and Industrial Relations, from the Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies, in 2012.
She began her professional journey with Portescap as assistant manager, in 2012. Four years later, she moved to Mahindra Finance where she played deputy manager-human resources for over two and a half years.
Ghadage’s next stop was Sodexo in March of 2019. There, she essayed the role of senior manager for almost four years before switching to HSBC. After serving HSBC as vice president-employee relations for a while, she joined Aditya Birla Capital as employee relations lead, in September of 2023.
In her new role at WPP Media, she will be expected to ensure workplace harmony and foster employee engagement. Her strategic approach to employee relations will be crucial to improving the culture of the organisation and making operations more resilient. The company will look to her for ensuring transparent communication, resolving conflicts and retaining talent.
Amongst her responsibilities in this new assignment, Mandakini Ghadage will have to ensure that the firm’s people strategy is aligned with business objectives for sustainable growth.
