    Ajay Dhiman is now president, COO & CTO, OPG Mobility

    Dhiman recently quit Revolt Motors where he had been serving as senior vice president–operations

    OPG Mobility (formerly Okaya EV), an electric mobility company, has appointed Ajay Dhiman as president-chief operating officer (COO) and chief technology officer (CTO), for its electric vehicle and EV components business.

    Dhiman, an alumnus of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), worked as an industrial engineer at Subros in the initial years of his professional journey, from 2004 to 2007. He then joined Sonalika Group’s International Cars & Motors (engineering) for three years.

    From 2010 to 2011, he was associated with Renault Nissan Automotive India, working out of Chennai area.

    May of 2016 saw him taking up the role of project technical lead-new product development in Honda Motors, Japan.

    Ajay Dhiman’s next stop was Honda Cars where he spent over a decade handling manufacturing operations and product development, working out of Gurgaon.

    He has also been associated with Revolt Motors, as senior vice president, head of operations, R&D, sourcing & SCM, strategy.

    For the last seven years, Dhiman has also been freelancing as a consultant, technical advisor, mentor and specialist in the automotive and electric-vehicle industry.

    Now, at OPG Mobility, Dhiman will reportedly handle the operations and technology, looking into research and development, product development, quality, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, supply-chain management and business strategy.
