Toyota Mobility Solutions and Services India has appointed Vasudevan Srijin as head of HR: commercial. He was earlier heading HR shared services at Apparel Group, where he spent over three years.
Having begun his career as an HR generalist with Future Group People Office, in October 2010, Vasudevan Srijin moved to Bosch India in 2012, as HR executive. For a year he worked from Bangalore, handling training requirements in consultation with heads of different functional and operational areas and conducting different training programmes for different entities.
February of 2013 saw Vasudevan Srijin taking up the role of assistant manager-HR, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail. For the next over three years he handled talent acquisition and management, recruitment and selection, as well as succession pipeline at management levels.
In March of 2016, Srijin joined Raymond as deputy manager, human resources. Among other responsibilities, he handled compensation and benefits — salary surveys, salary bench-marking, compensation policies, benefits policies, rewards, medical and insurance. He also took care of employee payroll management.
From October 2018 to December 2021, he was associated with the Landmark Group, as manager-HR.
His association with Apparel Group began in January 2022. Vasudevan Srijin played country human resources manager for two years before being elevated to head of HR shared services, in April 2024.
Now, this alumnus of VELS University—from where he completed an MBA in HRM/personnel administration—will be heading the human resources function for the commercial division of Toyota Mobility Solutions and Services India.
HRKatha wishes him all the best in this endeavour!
