    Marico promotes Arnab Das to EVP-HR, India business

    Arnab Das has been elevated from head HR-India business to executive vice president-human resources, India business, Marico.

    Das has spent 15 years with the company, having joined way back in 2011, as manager-remuneration and HR operations. Just over four years into this role, he was promoted to ‘Marico Young Board Member’ in 2015. April of 2015 saw him being elevated to head-remuneration, performance and HR operations. Two years into this role, he was promoted to head-rewards and business HR. From 2019 to 2020 he served as head-corporate HR before being elevated to business HR head-sales and marketing. Another promotion in 2022 made him business HR head-sales, marketing and operations (supply chain, manufacturing, procurement). From 2024 till recently, he was heading HR for the India business.

    An engineering graduate from IIEST, Shibpur, Das completed an MBA in PMIR from XLRI Jamshedpur in 2007.
    He actually began his professional journey as a scientific engineer with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in 2002.

    After serving as trainee at Deloitte for about a year, he joined Aon Hewitt as a consultant in April 2007. Over two and a half years into this role, he was elevated to senior consultant in October of 2009. It was a year and four months later that he moved on to begin a long association with Marico, in January of 2011.

    Known to be a great team player, HRKatha wishes Arnab Das all the best as he continues to contribute to Marico with his diligence, intelligence and maturity.
