Spotify, the global audio streaming service, has elevated Shreyas Haridas and expanded his role to lead HR across JAPAC and SAMEA as director. He has been associated with Spotify since September of 2022 when he joined to take care of HR for South Asia, Middle East and Africa.
An engineering graduate, Shreyas Haridas is also an alumnus of Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development from where he completed an MBA in 2012.
He joined Reliance Industries (RIL) as HR business partner and worked out of Mumbai for almost three years, handling HRBP group level functions across RIL. From March of 2015 to January of 2018 he played HRBP at Disney Star partnering with the CFO, the CIO, and sales operations leaders. He also co-led the university hiring and talent programme for the legal and finance functions.
Haridas’ next stop was Nomura where he played assistant vice president-human resources for over four and a half years. This role also saw him leading global compensation and talent management for the technology teams in addition to playing India HRBP.
He is excited to take on this expanded role as HR director as “these markets are an incredible melting pot of culture, talent, and business”.
