After heading HR for India at TE Connectivity, for almost four years, Archana Srivastava has joined Sterlite Electric as chief human resources officer (CHRO).
A Computer Application graduate with an MBA in Human Resources Management, Archana Srivastava began her professional journey with Thermax two decades ago, first as an intern and then later as HR executive.
In February of 2010 she joined VA Tech Wabag as senior executive-HR. Over a year later, she moved to Kirloskar Oil Engines as deputy manager-human resources (corporate). Working out of Khadki, Pune, for the next two odd years, Srivastava looked after compensation & benefits, performance management system, policies, procedures as well as HR automation.
In 2013, she took up the role of head-HR (corporate) at Kalyani Steels.
Her next stop was Continental, as head of HR-powertrain plants, Pune. She spent almost seven years there acting as a strategic business partner to middle and senior management; providing guidance on how to best drive employee engagement and productivity while limiting legal risk exposure through knowledge of employment law. Among other responsibilities, she also collaborated with executive leadership to devise organisational development initiatives.
In October 2021 Vitesco Technologies roped her in as general manager-HR & BD, BU sensing and actuation, global.
It was in June of 2022 that she began heading HR for TE Connectivity in India.
Now, in her latest assignment at Sterlite Electric, the manufacturer of capital goods in the cable conductor industry, Archana Srivastava will look into people strategy, talent development, organisational capability and employee-engagement initiatives in alignment with business growth.
HRKatha wishes her all the best in this endeavour!
