IVS Ranganath, who joined Tropolite Foods in September of 2025 as vice president and head of human resources, has been promoted to chief human resources officer in less than a year.
Ranganath is backed by three decades of experience, having begun his professional journey in 1996. He was associated with Asian Paints for over five years in the early phase of his career. He managed the plant and handled personnel operations of Patancheru Plant in Andhra Pradesh.
From 2001 to 2004, he was with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, as senior executive-human resources, working out of Hyderbad.
Ranganath’s next stop was ELICO where he played manager-human resources for over two years.
June of 2006 saw him joining Idea Cellular as senior manager-HR. During his two and a half years there, he successfully improved the employee full & final settlement process, reducing the closure time to within 15 days of the employee’s last working day.
Aircel roped him in for the role of assistant general manager-HR for over five years.
He moved to Signode India as head of HR in January of 2014. For over four years he looked after the entire gamut of HR operations (end-to-end employee life cycle management) for three SBUs (manufacturing, sales and automation units).
He moved to Shriram Bioseed Genetics as head of HR-India in March 2018. He served the company for seven and a half years before switching to Tropolite Foods.
Since September of 2025, Ranganath has been working with the leadership team to forecast talent needs and leading HR operations for this multi-cultural, 1000+ employee organisation with presence across production zones, sales territories, and corporate offices throughout India.
