Onida has appointed Neelam Sanguri as its chief people officer, strengthening its leadership team as the consumer electronics brand continues to focus on talent, culture, and organisational transformation. In her new role, Sanguri will lead Onida’s people strategy, with responsibility for talent management, leadership development, organisational culture, employee experience, learning and development, and workforce capability to support the company’s growth journey.
Sanguri brings over 16 years of experience across the consumer durables, technology, fintech, edtech, manufacturing, and business services sectors. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has extensive expertise in organisational growth, culture transformation, talent strategy, leadership development, and customer experience.
Prior to joining Onida, she spent nearly five years at Novio (formerly Credilio Financial Technologies), where she most recently served as chief people officer & chief customer officer. Earlier, she was head – human resources & training academy for three years, playing a key role in scaling the organisation through people practices, leadership frameworks, performance-driven culture, and customer service operations.
Before that, Sanguri served as director–talent transformation at EZScholar Edutech for over a year, leading talent and organisational- transformation initiatives.
She also spent nearly seven years at Bosch Home Appliances (BSH Household Appliances Manufacturing) as lead – learning & development, employee engagement & communications, where she drove learning strategy, employee engagement, leadership capability, and internal communications.
Earlier in her career, Sanguri spent close to four years at HCL Technologies, progressing through multiple learning and development roles from executive to deputy manager, building expertise in leadership development, capability building, and organisational learning.
She began her HR career as a management trainee – learning & development at Motherson Sumi Wiring India, following an early assignment at Convergys.
An alumna of XLRI Jamshedpur, Sanguri holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
