    Niva Bupa Health Insurance promotes Priyanka Sharma to SVP & head-talent, HRBP & sustainability

    After over four years of association with Niva Bupa Health Insurance, Priyanka Sharma has been elevated to the position of senior vice president & head – talent, HRBP & sustainability.

    Sharma is backed by over two decades of experience having begun her professional journey in June of 2005 as a project leader at Right Management. She spent over four and a half years there leading projects on talent assessment, leadership development and performance engagement for senior leadership.

    February of 2010 saw Sharma moving to Amway India as lead-people development. Over four years later, she switched to freelancing as a human resource consultant and trainer.

    Priyanka Sharma’s association with Schneider Electric began in December of 2015 when she took up the role of senior manager, learning solutions (global human resources). Less than three years into this role, she was She was elevated to associate general manager-learning solutions in October of 2018. In between she also played programme leader for mid-level country leadership programme. She reached the position of associate general manager-talent management and organisation development in January of 2019. Less than two and a half years into this role, she was elevated to HRBP-Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. By the time Sharma moved on from Schneider Electric in December 2021, she had reached the position of global talent partner and senior HRBP.

    Niva Bupa Health Insurance roped Priyanka Sharma in for the role of deputy vice president-talent management and OD, in December of 2021. Over two and a half years into this role, she was elevated to vice president-talent management, leadership and OD. In less than a year came another promotion that made her vice president and head-talent, HRBP and sustainability.

    Now, with her latest elevation, a grateful Sharma is looking forward to “continuing to shape talent, culture and leadership practices that support business growth while strengthening our aspiration to be a truly great place to work”.
