Hilton has appointed Pavithra Jayakumar as senior director, HR consulting for global brands & commercial services, APAC. In the hybrid Singapore-based role, she will work closely with Hilton’s brand and commercial teams across Asia Pacific to align workforce strategy with business growth and market priorities.
The appointment follows an extensive leadership stint at Procter & Gamble, where Jayakumar spent 15 years and 8 months building HR capabilities across multiple functions and geographies.
Jayakumar started out in talent acquisition as a recruiter at Accenture from June 2006 to June 2008, managing full-cycle hiring for middle-management roles. She entered P&G in November 2010 as an associate HR manager–HR analytics for ASEAN markets and stayed for one year eight months. From July 2012 to August 2014, she moved into business partnering as manager–HRBP for skincare, hair care & colour, Asia Pacific, supporting a $2B portfolio. Between September 2014 and July 2017, she led regional compensation strategy as a senior manager–regional compensation & benefits for Singapore and Indonesia.
She was promoted to director–HR shared services for Japan & Southeast Asia from July 2017 to July 2019, overseeing operations across seven markets. From July 2019 to July 2022, she served as HR director for Singapore campus, e-commerce and IT for APAC, Middle East & Africa. Her last role at P&G, from August 2022 to June 2026, was HR director–Singapore and Kobe innovation centres, where she drove talent and culture initiatives for P&G’s R&D hubs.
With nearly 20 years of experience in strategic HR, transformation and total rewards, Jayakumar joins Hilton at a time of continued expansion across the APAC region.
