Deloitte has appointed Rohan Lobo as industry leader for technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) for South Asia.

In this capacity, Lobo will guide boards and executive teams on pivotal decisions around capital allocation, portfolio strategy, capability investments and transformation priorities. He will spearhead Deloitte’s integrated TMT agenda across corporates, global capability centres (GCCs), global clients and investors, drawing together the firm’s expertise in strategy, corporate finance and M&A, tax, risk and cyber, and Data & AI, technology and workforce transformation.

Lobo brings extensive global advisory experience, having counselled clients across India, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, Australia and the US, spanning telecom, technology, manufacturing and government. His cross-market exposure has positioned him to navigate convergence, disruption and growth within the TMT sector.

Prior to this appointment, he led Deloitte South Asia’s GCC practice, where he was instrumental in building the firm’s standing across the full GCC journey – from set-up and scaling to performance enhancement and co-delivery. The practice under his leadership expanded its relevance to both domestic and international enterprises establishing and operating GCCs in the region.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Lobo combines financial acumen with deep sectoral insight. His elevation underscores Deloitte’s focus on strengthening industry-centric leadership to deliver integrated, high-impact outcomes for clients navigating digital transformation, deal complexity and regulatory evolution in the TMT landscape.
