AHEAD, the global IT company that assists organisations in their digital transformation, now has a new office in Hyderabad. It already has a delivery office in Gurugram. The recently-opened Hyderabad office will hire 500 people in a year’s time, that is, by 2025, as part of AHEAD’s expansion plans in the country. It is aiming for a headcount of 700 by the end of 2025.
The company wishes to leverage Hyderabad’s tech ecosystem and its extraordinary pool of talent.
Once it establishes a foothold in Hyderabad, AHEAD hopes its presence in South India will grow and its brand will become stronger in the region.
Praveen Grover, vice president and managing director, AHEAD India, reportedly believes that the talent offered by Hyderabad, combined with that offered by North India can together fulfil the requirements of the clients.
The Chicago-based tech firm with roots in data centres, opened its office in Gurugram early this year, aiming to cultivate a workplace that speaks to its employees’ hearts and minds.
In an exclusive interview with HRKatha in February 2024, Kristin Supancich, chief people officer, AHEAD, had admitted that “balancing standardisation with localisation is our key challenge.” To overcome that challenge, Supancich had come up with a “flexible framework” that ensures “consistency in core areas while empowering local HR maestros to guide the organisation based on regional melodies.”
