Vijayeta Kumar has been appointed senior director-HR, Affle, a global technology company with a proprietary consumer-intelligence platform that delivers consumer recommendations and conversions through relevant mobile advertising.
Armed with an MBA in human resources from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, Vijayeta Kumar began her professional journey with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), as HR executive, in 2004. Four years later, she moved to Ericsson India Global Services, as senior manager-human resources.
During her decade-long tenure at Ericsson, Vijayeta Kumar looked into leadership talent planning and development, performance management and performance improvement plans, employee-engagement surveys, and also succession planning. She worked to align people strategy and HR solutions with the business strategy and priorities.
Kumar’s next stop was Axtria-Ingenious Insights, where she headed human resources for India as director-HR for almost three and a half years, from 2018 to 2022.
June of 2023 saw her taking up the role of head of human resources, BigCash.
This proactive HR professional with a solution-oriented approach is known for her immense knowledge of the industry. Her ability to multi-task and still remain calm and energetic will hold her in good stead in her new assignment.
