Tata Digital has appointed Amit Kejriwal as the new head of total rewards, effective 14 June, 2025. In this new role, he will lead the Total Rewards strategy, playing a significant part in designing employee-centric compensation frameworks, aligning rewards with performance, and ensuring retention of top talent in a highly-competitive digital landscape.
With over 18 years of experience in human capital management across varied industries, Kejriwal’s appointment adds significant depth to Tata Digital’s HR leadership team as it continues its growth journey in India’s fast-evolving digital commerce space.
Prior to this, Kejriwal was heading performance and rewards for Reliance Nippon Life Insurance. He joined the company in the year 2022.
An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Kejriwal holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR), Class of 2009. Before that, he earned a degree in Computer Applications from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, grounding him in both tech and people-centric disciplines—a blend that aligns well with Tata Digital’s digital-first ecosystem.
Over the years, Kejriwal has built a strong track record in HR strategy, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and talent management. His professional journey spans leading organisations such as HDFC Bank, Reliance Digital Retail, and Indus Towers.
His appointment signals Tata Digital’s continued investment in building a modern, agile, and high-performing workforce as it expands its footprint across e-commerce, fintech, and other emerging digital segments.
